Maho in the Dragon Mountains
Musume Shiro is a small, but prosperous town in the mountains. Just off the Dragon Road, it is the link between the farmers in the next valley, the mining settlements in the mountains nearby, and the Dragon Road. The town thrives on trade. Gold from the mountains, rice, fruit, and tea from the valley, and luxury goods from outside all come through Musume Shiro. The town has a castle. It was once used for defense in times of war. Now, it is the home of the Tamori Family magistrate, who administers justice in the name of the daimyo.
Tamori Fujimaka was the last magistrate. He wrote to his daimyo about strange things happening in the town. Fujimaka never responded to the daimyo’s reply. The Dragon Champion sent Kitsuki Sayuri to help. When she arrived, she discovered that Togashi Fujimaka had disappeared with no trace. Maho is suspected.
The Emerald Champion, at the request of the Dragon Champion, is sending a party of Emerald Magistrates to Musume Shiro. The objective is to find out who the maho practitioner is and deal with them.
